Windows and Conservatories, Fensa registered company for windows and doors in South Yorkshire
FENSA stands for the Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme. It has been set up by the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF), with Government approval, in response to the new Building Regulations for England and Wales. Because WEATHERGLAZE is a fully registered member of FENSA, all of our installations comply with the new Building Regulations. From 1st April 2002, all replacement windows and glazed doors in dwellings will be subject to the new Building Regulations. From then on, anyone who installs replacement windows or doors will have to comply with improved thermal performance standards.
Because we are a Registered Fensa Approved Installer, you can be assured that all our installations are carried out in compliance with all relevant Building Regulations regarding correct glass, means of fire escape and means of ventilation. When having their windows and doors replaced from this date homeowners must ensure that they get a certificate from the Local Authority Building Controller or have the work completed by a FENSA Registered Company. For further information call our Sales Office on 0800 0355 444 or visit FENSA on www.fensa.co.uk
